charge
1动词冲锋，例：After the class, all the students charged into the playground.下课后所有孩子都冲到了操场上。
2动词收费，例：How much does they charge you for repairing the car.修这车花了多少钱？
3名词掌管搭配in charge of / take charge
4充电，电池上会有rechargeable可反复充电的
retreat撤退，倒着走
decimate=deci（十分之一）+ mate（在一起的人）动词大批杀死，（mate表示在一起的人，如roommate室友， workmate同事，classmate同学），decimate的来源：在古罗马的战争中军队对于逃兵的惩罚方式就是抽签的方式处死逃兵的十分之一，每班十人，处死一人，而且有同班人来进行刑罚，此所谓杀一儆十，这种做法在英国也同样使用过。
词根deci十分之一，如decimal十进制
词根dec表示十，如decade十年
词根centi表示百分之一，如centimetre厘米
词根cent表示百，如century世纪
massacre=mass（大量的人）+ acre（英亩）在一英亩地上杀死大量的人，名、动屠杀
slaughter=s（想象成死）+ laughter（笑声）杀死了人还能笑得出来，名、动屠杀

revenge=re（back）+ ven（拼音：剜）+ ge（拼音：割）名、动复仇，搭配take one%26rsquo;s revenge on sb. 例：We will take our revenge on the enemy，另一种表达We will revenge ourselves on the enemy. 我们会向敌人复仇的。
blast名、动爆炸，如blast a tunnel through the mountain在山里炸出一条通道，例：Several terrorists have claimed to be responsible for the blast几个恐怖主义者已经声称对这起爆炸负责。
其同义词为blow up
关于爆炸还有一个单词explode=ex（out）+ p + lode（矿脉）
那么这几个爆炸如何区别呢，我们举个简单的句子：The hijackers threaten to blast/blow up the plane, but the bomb failed to explode.劫机者威胁要炸掉飞机，但是炸弹没有引爆。blast与blow up是同义词，以人为主语，而explode是以炸弹为主语。
还有一个小型的爆炸，burst爆裂，例：One of my bike tyres burst.我自行车的一个胎爆了。Even another bite will make me burst.再吃一口我就撑死了。
