Recently, she took part in a national stamp designing competition for teens. The topic was the Year of the Dog. Xu drew a picture about her dog "Bingbing", a Dalmatian (斑点狗). Xu loved Bingbing very much, but sadly one day he was killed in a car crash (车祸). Recently, Xu's and 11 other kids' pictures have been put on 80-fen stamps.
